• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frunk won't latch. Need help.

Mine does that now and then after I take something out of the frunk that was a tight fit like my helmet. The gasket will pull loose and interfere with the lid closing and or latching. Look at it carefully it's black on black. I just get it back on the lip and all is well, keep thinking I might apply a dab of glue some day but haven't yet.

Ride safe,

Don't know..!!

don't know which model but I would first check the cable. Make sure the catch pin is moving when you release with the key. It may be stuck so it doesn't latch. Make sure the lid pin is lined up properly and is not loose. That is pretty much all there is...good luck..!!

check the gasket around the frunk.
it can get dislodged and cause the lid not go down far enough to latch

:agree:, especially near the hinge, it pushes back on real easy but hard to spot when it just slightly raised. Just enough to prevent the lid closing...

I had the trouble on my first ride with my 2012 Spyder RT Limited.....

Can not get the frunk to latch. Was working fine now nothing. Anybody have a quess.

I had to get the tool kit out from under the seat and adjust and tighten the actual latch (bike side) not on the "hood". That latch pivots around a bolt and can get pushed down if the bolt is not tight.

That was my issue with the frunk not latching....had to adjust again once -- only have 1600 miles on it.

frunk- no latch

My Rt did same thing. "Jaw" of latch on spyder had closed before lid engaged. Grandson opened with pinky finger- re-opened receiver jaws- worked fine after that.Ronbo
