• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frunk/Cargo unit lower bolt

Does anyone happen to know the part # or size for the 2 lower bolts that hold the front cargo box / frunk in place? Mine seem to be MIA and I can't find them on the parts diagram. Pretty sure its a hex flange, maybe an M6 but need to know length for sure.

M6 x approx 30mm but the length is not that critical as it threads into a nut with nothing behind it to block a slightly longer bolt. Yes they are hex head.

6mm x 20mm, grade 8.8, flanged head, gold cad finished

Not sure if a 30 may punch a hole in the bottom of the plastic frunk.

20mm is oem length.

:agree: ...... M6 x 20mm ............ But it can't punch a hole in the bottom ..... it's in a horizontal direction ....... and you can get them at Home Depot or Lowe's ...maybe a local Ace etc......

better option

Thanks guys! So it looks like that would be CanAm part #207662044.
Home Depot - Lowe's - Ace hardware etc...... probably have a M6 x 20mm - grade 8.8 Hex head bolt for lots less, that's easier to deal with because it's a HEX head........... Mike

Steve has some accessories planned. I was the one that pointed out those bolts were not installed.

I explained to him what the bolts were, flanged hex heads 6x20, even removed one from our RT, photo'd and texted to him.

Before I did all that, like Mike, I advised hitting True Value.

His choice where he buys them.
