• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frunk and check engine

Accidentaly twisted the key to the right on my 2012 RT when I meant to unlock the seat to fuel the Spyder. I checked the Frunk and it was still locked, tanked the bike and prepared to take off. When I started the bike, the check engine light started flashing and the bike ran very rough. I had to rev it up in first gear to park the bike. I stopped he bike, pulled the key, inserted it, opened he Frunk, closed it and restarted the bike. Everything good. WTF? Now I haven't used the switch to open the Frunk for a long time... Any idea if there's a connection between the two events or if this was a chance occurrence and something else is going on? Ironically I was on my way to the dealer because the cruise control is DOA...

I don't think there is any correlation between the two.
Sometimes strange things happen.

No problem...

with the frunk and the engine light. May be something with the fueling up, vapor lock, tank overfilled or filled to fast. These machines have their moments. If it cleared and has not come back it may be one of these glitches....

They sometimes do strange things to let you know who is really in charge. If the issues do not come back, your probably all right. Refueling seems to be the place where interesting things happen. Did you try to boot up to fast?

Got a call from the dealer... The ECM needed an update, which addressed a throttle sensor problem. Like all of you said, the two events appear to be unrelated...
