• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front wheels won't spin free

On my 2011 RT-S I jacked up the front end to change the shock preload and noticed that the front wheels don't turn free. Feels like something is draging on them. I took it to the dealer and they checked 3 of the bikes in stock and 1 spined free and they other 2 were like mine.
Some how I feel this is putting a drag on my bike and causing it to use more fuel, like drag in a plane.
When I say not spinning free I mean, when you grab the tire and pull it to make the tire spin. You have to put some effort into it, it's like the brake pads are draging. But there not, or the bearings are to tight but there is no adjustment to them.

So if BRP is looking at these I sure would like to have some kind of word on this!!!

My Spyder will roll forward, or backward, on the slightest slope, I don't think it would do that if there was a rolling resistance in the wheels. :ani29:

My 2010 RT did it tell i put some miles on. I just got my wife an RS 2011 an the wheels are tight on them to I'll just watch them to make sure they don't get hot.jc

mine has done this from day one and the shop said it was ok,so i hope they know what there saying.but i can push it around with little effert,so im saying it must be ok.:spyder2::chat:
