• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front wheel alignment

Unless you have major warranty problems why are you taking a 2014 RT-S for a 500 mile service when the first service is scheduled at 3,000 miles?

The dealer said it was required so I took it in. When I asked the service rep he indicated it was different than the 3000. As they are the only dealer with in a 4 1/2 hour ride and I don't feel safe riding it on the Hwy at 65mph I didn't think there was much choice. I also thought they would check the alignment and some other questions I had. I don't think the bad handling is all my inexperience but I can't say that for sure. Thank you for your input as I do appreciate the help and advice. :)

Tire issue

After Laser alignment my 2014 still pulled right so I took to the dealer I purchased it from. First time they said it still needed an alignment but they didn't have time I rescheduled for the same time I needed my 3000 mile check and arranged to leave the bike overnight. This dealer is a 200 mile one way ride from where I live. I drop the bike of and go to hotel. Next day I go to pick up bike and they tell me they got the 3000 mile check done for 340 dollars but couldn't get to the warranted alignment. Now I have traveled 400 miles and still a pull to right. I decide to take to another dealer who is 190 miles round trip from home. The service manager looks at bike and says " The right front wheel is cupping" and I tell him I have had the Laser Alignment. He says then it must be a bad tire and they replace the front tire in 30 minutes and now My bike runs straight and smooth. I have purchased 2 Spyders and a scooter from the first dealer and was treated like crap. I will always the second dealer from now on.

My suggestion to swap the tires is only as a TEST. If one tire has a bad belt your pull will go with the wheel. You try it and if the pull moves with the tire you know you have a bad tire. Then you can have the dealer replace them or put them back to where you started. I know that the tires are directional but this method of testing found the problem on more than one tire that I know of.

I did understand from your first post you were just saying to swap to try, not as a solution. Thank you for following up with the clarification in case I had misunderstood. :)
