• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front vibration mystery solved

After purchasing a new set of OEM, front-end tires from my dealer, I opted for ceramic balancing beads rather than wheel weights. Right off, I experienced front-end vibration as if the tires were out of balance. The ceramic beads just didn't live up to the hype.

To make a long story short, I was about to remove the ceramic beads and go with the traditional method of spin-balance and wheel weights, but before doing so, I wanted to check out one more thing. I wanted to check for bent rims or out-of round tire conditions.

I found the tires to be out of round by 1/8 inch, disappointing for new equipment. I then added 3/4 ounce of wheel weights on each wheel on the side with the flattest tire surface. I did not remove the ceramic beads. I then took the Spyder for a spin, and wow, what a difference. Vibration was nil as evidenced by the image in my rear view mirror. I tried all speeds that induced the previous vibration and found none at any speed.

I have the Dynabeads as well and was about to suggest what you discovered to do. I think the Ride on works in a different way since a lot of users actually remove their weights.
