A car tire dealer that does Spyder laser alignments? Or is Netzley a Cam Am dealer? Some Spyder Dealers are set up to do them; but not all of them...
The Netzleys have been doing them for quite a while now, and have a solid reputation for good work.
Thanks...it may be worth the ride then. Some Spyder Dealers are set up to do them; but not all of them...

Where do you buy Federal tires for the front of your Spyder?I just ordered and installed a set of Federal tires on my 2014 RT, with 17k miles. The original tires were still pretty good, but now I know how a spyder should ride and handle. I purchased them for around $65, and had them installed at a car tire place (Mr. Tire) for $20 each. My only suggestion when removing the wheel and tire, is to remove the mud flap first. It makes removing the tire much easier.
The easiest way is on-line like E-bay .... no one asks any questions .... you can get free shipping .... and the prices are usually better .... just enter Federal ( then tire type ) size ...check free ship box ..... enter lowest price ..... BINGO , your done ...... Mike :thumbup:Where do you buy Federal tires for the front of your Spyder?
Today I had two Kumho KH16 175/55R-15's mounted.
I ordered the tires from Tire Rack Sunday and they arrived today. I took them and my wheels to Cosco and they dismounted my Kumho 155/60R-15's that had 27,000 miles on and installed my new tires with new valve stems. The price included disposal of my old tires and would have included balancing them, but I use RideOn so told them not to, for a total charge of $30.00.
When asked what car I told them 1983 Alfa Remeo Spyder since they had to put something in their computer, but I did tell them it was for a trike. They did not care!
I have been very vocal about my positive feelings about switching to quality CAR tires for Spyders ..... And have also been honest about KENDA"s on the front ( even tho I don't like them in general ).... As long as your Spyder has excellent alignment any tire will last on the FRONT .... ROTATING is foolish , it doesn't correct bad alignment and all the tires you put on will wear out prematurely ( I'm surprised Peter didn't catch this ??? ).......Now the feathering you mention could be the poor Kenda tires ..... have you had a ROLO lazer alignment done on that Spyder ????? ........... Mike :thumbup:After having a mid-tread puncture earlier this month on a trip and with the OEM Kenda front tires now having 18,500 miles I ordered two new Kumho Solus KH16's and have them ready to put on before next riding season. The mushroom plug is holding fine, so no hurry, and will probably wait 'til cold weather before I make the change and get a few more miles out of the Kendas. They are down to 1.7 mm (about 2/32 over the wearbars) but have some feathering.
I thought I'd check the wear on the wifes Kumhos at 20,000 miles, and compare them to the new Solus' in hand, and see that hers still have 3 mm left out of the 5 mm new depth to wearbar. So she should be good for another 20,000 to 30,000. I put them on after she got 23,500 out of her OEM Kenda fronts, and pretty well down to the wearbars. She is well pleased with the handling and they are wearing evenly with no evidence of feathering and only a little more outside wear as expected, (down to 2.7 mm). May be time to flip rotate them to even out the wear.
Summary, It looks like the Kumho Solus KH16 rubber compound and build is giving us 2-3 times the life as some others have reported/estimated. Your riding style, and mileage will be different.
Here are the halfway and new tire pics for the Solus tire in the 155/60R15 size on the 15 RT/S. We are running 17 psi on the fronts at 70 F. View attachment 139518View attachment 139519
