Dealer said it was normal. Do I scream until they align it? I'm always afraid it could be made worse and I won't know until it wears out my tires. If I can put on car tires and get 20,000 miles I'd be happy. I really don't know what to do with it. I've gotten to the point where I really just don't want to fight with the dealer. If he says it doesn't need alignment and I say it does, would you want to have to pay him to do something that he says it doesn't need?
I definitely feel your pain. I don't have a solution for a dealer that won't, or can't fix the problem.
It's more than just bad tire wear. If the alignment isn't right your steering and straight ahead stability is going to suffer as well as gas mileage.
Many dealers don't know how, or do not have the equipment to properly align the Spyder. So no, I would not pressure that dealership to do an alignment because you will probably be disappointed. But it is a shame that the 'Fix' offered is to continue to buy more tires.
