• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Tire Wear

I have an 09 GS/RS with 14500+ miles... I've gone through two right front tires in the past year. When i had the first one replaced the dealer told me that it is common for them to wear out the inside tread on the tires and that there is no way to adjust them. does any one know anything different

I would think you need to have the front end checked - alignment and ball joints. I have an 08 GS with 19,000 and I am still on the OEM tires and have very little wear to either. Might also check air pressure and keep front tires at 18-20 lbs.

If I were you I would carefully check for bent suspension components, loose a-frame bushings, loose shock bushings, and loose tie-rod ends. I would also have the steering sensors re-zeroed with the steering carefully centered. In addition, tou may wish to check wheel bearing play. Not likely an alignment or "normal wear" issue if just one side is badly worn, although in areas with strongly crowned roads, iot is possible.
