• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Tire Question

Thanks to the helpful advise found on this website, I put Kumho Ecsta AST's on the back end of both my wife's Spyder and mine and are very, very pleased with their performance and wear. Now, when the time comes, in which direction should I go for the front two tires? To be honest, the stock ones that came with the Spyder are wearing extremely well - I've gotten well over 21K on my front tires with tons of tread left. Should I stay with the stock tires or can someone recommend something perhaps even better? Thanks ahead of time for all the input!

Ryde safe, my friends!

With that kind of milage [good] why would you want change .:dontknow:

20K is good. I have that on my RTS now and they are still looking good. I did have to replace the rear at 13K though.

Thanks for the input. I'm really impressed with the wear on the front tires, but that rear tire - that's another story. :cus: You got almost 2,000 more miles on yours than I did on mine....I barely got 11K out of it. But my Kumho Ecsta AST's are still looking good with almost 11K on them. By the time I get back from Street Vibrations in a couple of weeks I'll have almost, if not more than, 12K on them and they should still be lookin' fine.

Take care, my friend!
