• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Front Tire Choices?

Needing front tires soon.. Anyone have a tire brand they like? Bridgestone, Firestone? for a @011 RT-S... Most my ridn=ing is out on the winding country roads.. No Kenda's please:gaah:. Rear tire is a Kumho, which is working out fine.. would appreciate any comments or suggestions.. Thanks:D

Curious. ....

Having gotten over 30,000 miles on my Kenda front tires and they performed very well, how many miles did you get and did they fail in any way..?? many ryders have been unhappy with the rear tire and many for good reason as far a duration. Many have continued using the Kendas up front and car tires in the rear. You have many choices and this would be the place to find a few opinions...:joke:

We have close to 30k on our front tires and have never had anything close to a problem with the Kendas!

Wild Hogs

Bridgestone's Firenza had gotten good reports as a replacement for the Kenda tires up front.

Just watched Wild Hogs the other day..great movie.. No problems with the Kenda's and have 16,000 miles on them, just looking for something new and different.. Im just a person who loves variety in all manners of my life...May try the Bridgestone's, thx BOB..

Who's NOT rooting for Dudley???

Firefly always spoke highly about the Potenza as a good aftermarket choice...

My question is: Does Kumho make the right size for the front? I really like my new rear Kumho, and wouldn't mind matching it up on the front.
I have the original Kenda's on the front, and they're 8 years old! No checking going on, and about half tread left, with 14,000 miles, but I want new rubber up there.

Recently installed a pair of Kumho Ecstas. Like the look, ride, overall feel. Too new to evaluate mileage. From limited experience, I'd recommend them.

I always put Kenda's on the front of my prior Spyders and got good mileage out of them. On the 14 though they didn't last and I went with Federals, which probably aren't made in the 14".
