Front spring adjustment

Hi all. Since I bought the GS on some bad French small roads the bike would jump from side to side to the point of scaring the crap out of me. As I am only 75kgs (165lbs) decided to alter the spring settings (read somewhere that dealers says not too) but changed mine to lowest rate and changed the bike with now can see the wheel actually move upwards without the frame moving. Happy boy now :clap::yes:

I was stationed in France in the early 60's, drove a 1956 Porsche over a lot of those very fun French roads.

Most of the time its fine but some roads are having new water pipes fitting along the length of the road - so you have one front wheel on original tarmac and one in rough, bad finish ditch with the rear wheel either / or good bad surface!
