There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Front latch not latching! Can I adjust it?

2019 rtl front latch not latching. How do I adjust same? Used some silicone spray on same but that didn’t work.

Are you saying the latch does not latch when you attempt to close the frunk lid or the latch will not click into the closed position when you push down on it with the frunk lid open? If the former, check that the frunk tub gasket is fully seated all the way around. It is not unusual to pull part of the gasket loose when removing a bulky bag from the frunk. If the latter, when you push the ignition key fully down into the lock and turn it CCW can you hear the cable moving in its housing? You should be able to push down on the latch with the frunk lid open and see it click into the latched position and then when you press down on the ignition key and turn it CCW the latch should snap open as there is a spring in the system to push it open.

Yes, it can be adjusted. I had to adjust mine. I added an Ace Hardware #10 spring to the pin in the lid, which helps it pop up easier.

JayBros I have checked the gasket it seems to be fully seated. and It opens just fine.

OK, with the frunk lid open what happens when you push down on the latch, will in not stay down in the locked position? I'm sorry, if it won't I don't know how to adjust it.

You can adjust the latch for height. If you remove the tupperware around the headlights it's pretty obvious how to adjust it up or down as the latch bracket is slightly slotted allowing it to be moved up or down.

Then I guess it's worth removing a little Tupperware to adjust the latch per EdMat's instructions. Just be certain to test the adjusted latch multiple times before reinstalling the Tupperware. Removing the Tupperware is in your operator's guide in the section on replacing headlights.

Got it fixed. I was able to adjust the latch up a little bit. Latches properly now. Thanks for all your help and info.

Glad you got it fixed. This web site has a wealth of good information. The next time I have to pull off that facia beneath the windshield I'll have to look at the latch adjustability.
