• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front end Wobble when braking...

I got new tires a couple of months ago and was told at that time that I had about 30% brakes left. I've recently developed a decent front end wobble when braking at higher speeds (50+), but is still smooth as silk at in-town speeds. I had my brakes done at around 5k miles (because another dealer told me they needed it, wasn't too happy 'bout that) and I've got just over 18k now.... Thoughts? Is it just time for new brakes or is there something else to look at?

Material Transfer??

This happens and is often mistaken for warped disks. Borrow a dial indicator, raise and rorate the tire. There shouldn't be more than 0.004" of deflection. It's m/t if there isn't deflection. Light sanding and cleaning with brake cleaner ( and pad removal, sanding on a true flat ) Much cheaper than new disks and pads.

Good luck and see you in Sonora,
