Front End Width Difference RT vs RS

According to BRP specs.

RS width = 59.3
RT width = 61.9



What is the difference in width caused by?

I believe there is a slight difference in the offset of the wheels. More positive offset on the RT. That's why you have to bend the fender brackets out a bit if you use the RT wheels on the RS.

It should be 3" over all. The RT has 1" longer a-arms and 1/2" offset on the wheels.

1" longer a-arms... is that why the front end feels softer? Does the extra width build us RT flyers a bit more travel too? If we were to slide a set of RS/GS shocks under our front end, would that drop the front lower for better handling?

I noticed that when I switched from GS to RTS. Not sure of the mechanical issues involved.

The difference is...

the RS will fit on a cheap 5x8 trailer and the RT won't !
