• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went on a long ride today and four times my front end went into a terrible wabble. slowed down and it came out of it. Anybody ever had this happen?

Wobble

I had the same problem.. Tire gauge was way off. Dealer checked and only had 6 to 8 lbs. in front tires. Aired up to right pressure, wobble gone. Also a new air gauge to check tires. Hope that is your problem..

[SUP]A little more info will help. If the spyder is new to you, try relaxing your grip on the bars a little. You may have been fighting the steering system. Next, road conditions can cause the front end to track wierd since it has 2 tires. Uneven pavement, road construction or those grooves they cut into the road play heck with the spyder. Good luck, Dave[/SUP]

With so little information provided it is hard to suggest anything.
- What kind of Spyder?
- Type of road?
- Miles on the machine?
- Does the wobble happen at the same speed each time?
- Can you make it happen?
- Any codes thrown?
- And many other questions.

Could be loose connections, lost wheel weights, bad belt in a tire, DPS problems, bent wheel or just inexperience on the highway.

If it is intermittent and the same speed each time, my guess would be a bad tire.

Teddy & I would like to say WELCOME to the SPYDERHOOD!!!

The above link has alot of good & useful information for newer Spyder Owners and you may want to check it out. I'm not suggesting it will solve your present delima, but still couldn't hurt. Also, you may want to update your profile by adding a SIGNITURE LINE with the Year & Model Spyder you have along with if its an SE5 or SM5, miliage & any mods that you've added:thumbup: That way, any time in the future, you post a question, those trying to help you will already have much of the basic information we'll need to help come to a conclusion to whatever issue you may be posting about & this way, you won't have to retype the basics with every new post, kinda like how Teddy & I have ours;) I hope you quickly find a solution to your problem & that its an easy fix:pray::pray:
