Front end shake

I have a 2014 RTL, and the tires and fenders are shaking, not really bad but very noticeible. I have read alot of posting on this forum, my question is this.
The people who have had this problem, what was the final salution that fixed your shaking / vibration problem?

Get rid of the Kenda tires.... I waited, trying re balancing, beads, etc,etc,etc, and finally ended up replacing them with Kumho KH16 175/55R15, when the right one decided to die.

Problem fixed, but because of all the shaking, now I need to replace the top bushing on the right hand side where the Kenda that was shaking badly finally blew-out on the highway...... (grab the fender and rock it front and back to check for any play)

Agree. Time and again this has been fixed by getting rid of the awful Kenda tires.

I got my 2016 RT Special Series three weeks ago and the front end shook. mostly noticed it in the mirrors and the windshield. I jacked the front end up and spun the tires finding the right one was out of round. the dealership replaced the tire and the shake was gone. :clap:

And now the rest of the story!!

I wish it could have been as cheap as new tires, my right rim was bent from the 4 inch fuel hose I ran over a couple of months back. For those of you who don't know, you can NOT buy just one rim, they are sold only in pairs at $720 for the original chrome rims.


Just thought I would let yall know what fixed my shaking front end.

I had the same problem. Took it to a tire an alignment vendor in Maggie Valley this afternoon. One front tire out of round and same tire out of alignment. Test road after, seems to have fixed the problem. Will know for sure tomorrow.
