We started our day on a solemn note riding with the Patriot Guard to honor Pvt. Thomas Allers who gave his life for our country in Afghanistan. This was the largest turnout of riders that we have seen. Additionally the route from the funeral to the cemetery was lined with people from a woman with 2 young daughters who held homemade flags in their driveway and all of the school children at one of the public schools to all of the employees of a large office building. It was very moving.

We rode back home for a quick stop to let the dogs out then it was off to Muskegon to see the Hot Rod Power Tour. It was very cool and my Spyder was a big hit.
