• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Friday March 2nd: Tornadoes

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
The weather system is on the move again with large and potentially dangerous tornadoes predicted between 4 and 8:00 PM for Tennessee and Kentucky. Schools being closed early in Tennessee.

Suggest those of you in that area keep an eye on the weather channel or other local weather information.

's go out for all the people in the affected area.

This is turning out to be a scarry year for this kind of weather.

NASTY weather around here...And the cold front is NOT even here yet!!! :banghead:

More to come tonight! The folks in Tellico Plains (Cherohala Skyway) had a confirmed tornado go through downtown...

We got the northern edge of that this afternoon. A LOT of lighting flying around!! Looks clear (but foggy higher up) now. Neighbor told me upper parts of Michigan are supposed to get 10-12 inches of snow over the weekend!! :yikes: Missed us down here again...... Boooooooo!!!

Stay safe if you're in the tornado zone folks!!!!

We are south of Nashville, in Franklin, TN, right now. Had to head to the shelters twice today, but the rough stuff missed us by a little bit. I hope all the folks in the path of this mean storm stay safe.

Multiple deaths from tornadoes in Indy & KY, much destruction, but Cincy Metro is ok

They were calling for SEVERE WEATHER that we rarely get around the metro Cincinnati area & boy, did we get it today. Where Teddy & I live, right across from downtown Cincinnati on the Kentucky side of the Ohio river, we were safe & spared any damage from what I could tell from crawling to our balcony for a looksy before it got dark. We live in Kenton County, & the news was reporting that the southern part of the county got pounded hard & may have had a touchdown, so it was close. Last I heard, their were around 4 deaths in the KY, IN, & OH areas with reports of some people being trapped in the aftermath of rubble & debris.

Teddy & I hope ALL of our extended SpyderLovers family members are safe & ok & send out our prayers & well wishes for ALL those that are impacted from the storms :pray::pray:

It appears that the severe weather around some of you is going to last into tomorrow morning..............stay safe and keep your heads down. We will be praying for all .
