Free XM-Sirius Sort Of

Following advice on a previous post here in Spyderlovers. We have XM in our 2 vehicles. Wife downloaded the XM App to my phone. I am not tech savvy. Plugged it in to the jack in the glove box. And, awesome! XM radio. Both daughters listen to XM on their work computers. Using our account. :thumbup: Tom :spyder:

That XM app uses your phone plan data bytes the whole time that it is running.......right ??
Don't see how it could work otherwise.
Digital audio doesn't use a lot of data.......but some.

And......did you get that "free" because of your other 2 subscriptions ?

We are on the free data plan with Verizon. hyea: And yes it's, phone app, free because we have a subscription with the cars. Both girls have our sign in so they get it at work. We are getting our moneys worth. :thumbup: Tom :spyder:

That might be the initial default......to prevent you from a "data usage surprise".
