• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We sure do, but as they are registered as a Car they have to have a Car Plate. My Plate is smaller HW U DN in the pic, it is a Supplementary plate that you use to hang on to your Bicycles if you have a bike rack that obscures your number plate.
Anyway, we had a great day with Fred and Cherrie took him for a great ride to the West Coast from the East Coast on his Birthday ;)

UK plates are about the same. Great pics.

Indeed they are! In the UK the Spyder is classed as a 'tricycle' and thus not a car.
Number plates must conform to the legal standard. There is no minimum size for a
number plate but the letters/numbers must be a certain size and in an approved font.

Legal-Motorcycle-Numberplate-Requirements.jpgCLICK!!
Taking these measurements into consideration gives a typical Motorcycle Number Plate
measurements of 9″ x 7″ – 228mm x 178mm. The plate must also be reflective.

Sure you can buy smaller plates that don't conform to this standard but the police
are pretty hot on them and the fine is around $100 for an infraction.

So we end up with this: :yikes: gb_hj02twc.jpg

Oh! And another thing; the plate must also bear the name, postal code
and/or phone number of the maker!!
You couldn't make it up!!

Yes

Unfortunately we are not doing the tour with Fred, but you are absolutely right, we have some great roads here, and some pretty nice people lol. I have seen a lot of NZ since i started riding my Spyder, and still look forward to seeing a lot more.
I asked Fred where was his all time favourite ride, he said there were too many in the past to narrow it down to just one. But he always looks forward to coming to NZ, great roads, not too much traffic, and beautiful places to see.

Oh yeah, we ride all year round here, gets cold, but not a severe as you guys get
