• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. An old ATVing buddy sent me these pictures of Today's sunrise... The California wildfires must have had something to do with it...

Great shots...

Be up that way a couple of time and they are spectacular....although can't complain about the ones here either....:2thumbs:

We rode through Utah last week on our way back to Mesa. It was very smokey. Hard to see the mountains even though they were close. Nice waitress in Heber City told us the smoke was mostly coming from California. BTW, Chicks Cafe is a "must" place to eat in Heber City.

There are several wildfires burning in Ut at this moment. There is the Coal Holow Fire and the Hill Top fire .These are both just a few from where I live tho, we ate in no danger. The sunsets are really spectacular but it would be nice to see the blue sky and breathe clean air.

Chicks in Heber is a great place to get Chicken Fried Steak, but not so great on information, most of the smoke is home grown.

Utah Pete leaves the Cpounty... and look at what he's missing! :D
I know I can count on this forum to keep me informed!

Haven't seen any smoke from CA wildfires since we left Ontario, but I understand it is now visible in NY state. Pretty sobering to contemplate that amount of devastation.

US 6 is still closed as of early this morning as the Coal Hollow fire jumped the road .Dollar Ridge has flared up again and these two my join to become one. Smoke for now is going north so we are relatively smoke free down here in the center and south.

I was at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon last weekend, very smoky, burning eyes, couldn't hardly see the canyon at all. The rangers all said most of it is from California however there were about 10 active fires in general area.
