• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Frame swap

Anybody with a black frame on their F3 interested in swapping for the Red? I have a white F3s with the red frame and really wanted the black but the only way to get it with the white body was to drop to the F3. Adding the additional items such as cruise priced out above the F3s. Looking at taking it apart and having it painted unless someone wants to swap pieces.

If you end up disassembling your bike to change the color of the frame, you might consider powder coating the frame as it will be a more durable finish than paint.

Also, if you do go through all that effort, you could make it have any color. Rather than black (like many other bikes out there), did you consider a dark navy blue? It is something to make your bike stand out in a subtle way.

Good luck and don't forget to post before and after pics.

:yikes: that sounds like a lot of work just to change a color.
Should give you and idea just how much I don't like the BRP idea of red.:banghead:painting it black or grey opens up a lot of options for colors for the rest of the bike.

Would have been easier to buy a Black & Chrome F3S and repaint the panels. But that's my opinion.
Didn't want the chrome and didn't want to wait. We took the first delivery for Central Florida PowerSports and it would have been the first F3 (sorry Lamont you don't count) if I could have taken the time off to make the drive to Kissimmee. The black and chrome were almost two months later. I could have just gone for the F3 and paid the additional for the extras I wanted but I thought I could live with the red frame. I can't and the problem is I just can't come up with a color combo I like for the rest of the bike that would go with the red/orange frame. I know there are others with a similar frame of mind. I figure I can swap with someone, power coast mine, or buy in black and sell mine to someone else looking to make a change at a discount. Thankfully we still have the 2014 RTs so we wouldn't be bikeless. That and Florida summers don't make for the most enjoyable riding time so having it out of commission right now wouldn't be much of an issue.
