Fox adjustable shocks for 2013 / 2014 RT's now available

I had a talk with the BRP rep at Americade and he tells me that Fox adjustable shocks are now available for the 2014 RT thru BRP. In fact he showed me a pair installed on his 2013 RT. They are not yet in the catalog, but the dealers have been sent a bulletin.

I would be interested in this. Any mention of price?

Other than him saying I'd probably save about $300 on the Fox's from BRP rather than going with Elkas, no. So my guess is some where around $500, but that's only a guess on my part.

Fox Shocks on my STS

I Have the Fox Racing Shock and Anti Sway Bar Package on my ST-S, and it only cost me around 250.00. I know your talking about The RT but it might give you a guesstimate on price.

So it might even be cheaper than my guess - good info - Thanks

Any mention if these were FOX oem type or FOX aftermarket stuff.

Also, with FOX outsourcing to China or overthere somewhere, but still supposed to do some stuff in California, any idea where these are made?

I may wait a while, but I'm holding out for Ohlins TTx stuff, but would consider FOX aftermarket if I knew more about them.

I found out doing the factory tour. The SACHS shocks on the RT's are made in Mexico. nojoke The Rep I spoke to about my RT taking a dive in the corners, said to put the Fox shocks on. Tom :trike:

Check the BRP web iste

I just ran a Google search for Fox shocks for my 2013 RT-S and it came up with a link a BRP website.
The part number is: 219400409 and the cost is $399.00 for the kit.
I wll definitely be purchasing this for my Spyder.

I just looked again and the kit I posted a link to is for the 2013 RS, ST models.

Can someone please post the correct part number????????

Waiting... :bbq::bbq::bbq:
Tom,
Did they give you a part number for the kit; when they suggested putting them on your RT?

The BRP rep did not give me a PN, he said contact my dealer. I did that Saturday on my way home and they are researching it for me. Nor did he tell me if they were OEM or after market. He simply said what I initially posted and showed me the set on his 2013 RT. He said they had been working with Fox for 6 months now to get a set that would handle the weight of the RT.

I too want new shocks
But am waiting till I can get Elkas
I had them on my 2008 GS and I know I they work great
I do not know about the Fox shocks so I will stick with what I know works
My dealer said he is working on a group buy from Elka and maybe can get the Fronts for $550
Don

i think i will go with the elkas, i had them on my 13 rt and i thought they were great. and i really feel that the 14 shocks need to be improved on

Well, time for me to go get some breakfast and then go down to the dealers and see what he found out on PN's and prices for the BRP Fox shocks for the RT. Then I'll have to decide Elkas or Fox and get them on order. I'll keep you informed if I find anything out.

Called the dealer today about a group buy for front Elkas
HE old me that I am the only one that has been on the list so nothing yet
Don

The only way to drum up a list is to put a price out there! :banghead: People won't commit with out knowing what it will cost them. :banghead: Maybe Len will get on this? Tom :trike:

Ok here we go, finally some solid info. My dealer quoted me $500 for the kit (plus installation) and the kit PN is 219400588
