• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found this in my Spyder RT (What is it?)

Hey, as some of you are aware, I just bought a 2018 Spyder RT Limited Dark. It came with a cover in the rear center trunk and I pulled it all the way out and found the thing in the attached pictures inside of it. I was wondering if y'all could help me figure out what this is exactly? Doesn't seem to fit anywhere obvious. Looks like it has a 2-screw mounting point, but then also has a gasket for a seal around the edge. Also has 2 circular velcro stickers on the backside of it and I don't see anything that matches any of these. Would appreciate some of the expert eyes to take a look and let me know. Thanks.

I don't have that year Spyder but it looks like a battery cover to me. My battery cover has those velcro dots to hold a plastic sleeve with the BRP roadside assistance information in it. On a 2022 RTL it is behind the frunk liner.

Didn't think to unzip the cover on the battery, but you're right on! I just tried it out and that's exactly where it's supposed to go. Thanks!

Now to get it back on there. Only 1 screw is in there right now, so gonna have to find a match somewhere to get it back on there securely. Appreciate it! Have a good one.

Looks like the frunk door at the bottom. Covers the battery. Should have two screws to hold it in place. The velcro is for the frunk liner to hold it.

Looks like you figured it out..
