Found smashed wires after dealer did 2013-9 warranty campaign!

Don't have to call them, they called me. They found this post and the service mgr. called this morning and apologized and asked if there was anything they could do to make it right. I told them that I was not pissed and since the wires were not damaged all is good. I am glad they called and tried to square it away that seems to be handled well. My beef was only that if I had not been taking the bike apart to add the bars then I would not have found it till it shorted out.

That is awesome, and nice to know they are watching your every move....I mean nice to know that they are interested in the forum!

That sorta tells me they are on top of things....even things that it seems we hear about before some dealer do. :thumbup:

Wow, that stinks and could have caused more problems while shorting. Glad you found it before it had a chance to short.

All dealers should be using this forum to get a sense of owner experiences as one of many inputs to quality assurance. As with all product and service related forums, the posts can be skewed toward the negative but it is important perspective information.
