• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Forum quirk or operator error??

When reading threads, I often encounter the "more replies below current level" message. When I click on the " more replies," it only displays those extra replies, not the entire thread.
Is this just a quirk of the server, or is there a "switch" in display mode to always show entire threads instead of the amputated ones? :dontknow:

At the far right side of the lower tool bar you'll see display modes. Linear mode shows all posts in a linear fashion. Threaded and Hybrid modes will truncate the thread once it's outline gets to a certain "depth". HTH

You must be in Threaded mode or Hybrid. I use Linear and don't see that message. I checked and in Threaded mode, that message does show. I don't like the way threaded or Hybrid works.

Go to your User CP
Scroll down to Edit Options under Settings and Options.
Scroll down to Thread Display Options
Click, using the dropdown menu on Linear - Oldest First.
Scroll to the bottom and save changes.

This should fix it
