FOREST FIRE

FYI - IF YOU ARE PLANNING A RIDE NEAR FOOTHILLS PARKWAY - TOWNSEND - WALLAND - TENN

There is a forest fire about 300 acres or so burning near the Townsend end of the Foothills parkway. I don't think the Parkway is actually involved but there is a VERY heavy layer of smoke though out the whole area. I know a lot of people use the Parkway to get to the Dragon, Cheraloha skyway...etc.,so if you are going to be in this area.....PLEASE BE CAREFUL......

YUP...... we're are choking here in the Upstate of South Carolina.... multiple fires here and in western North Carolina...
i read that some :cus: moron video'd himself starting one of those fires, and he then posted it on Facebook... :gaah: cops got him and hopefully he'll never be seen or heard from ever again...

We have had some of the smoke from the other fires, but this one is really close....and I know a lot of guys cut through the Foothills, coming from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge heading to the Dragon. Just a public service announcement
