• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

for those of us who like to ride with our foot on the frame...

I ride with my heel on the frame and my toe on the peg for the most part but I was always concerned with my foot slipping off when I would go for the brake and also about scratching the frame. I found this at Lowes and it has seemed to solve my worries. thought I would share.

Tread Tape

I to like to ride with my heel on the frame. I tried a similar product from Home Depot and the heel of my boot wore through in a short period of time.... Keep an eye on it for wear.:doorag::spyder2:

great topic

I did wrap my bike with custom decals, also I did wrap the frame to clear foil, to cover the possible scratches, because I am tall person I do ride with my foot on the frame, otherwise I cannot brake.. its just too small for me :)))
anyway this is good topic. I was thinking to add there in same area in same shape as your tape, some thin anty-slippery rubber..

does any of you have been thinking about this.?

Not sure how warm it gets down there but maybe Linex or some truck bed liner? Too bad BRP only offers pegs for the U-fit system. They may learn?
Just a Redneck thought. :p

what do you use now? this one seems to be almost like a shingle material so hopefully it wont wear through. if it does I have about 13ft left ;)

I have not found anything yet. Still looking. I simply rest the heel of my boot against the frame.
