• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Planning on ordering either foot pegs or foot boards for a new RS very soon. The stock foot pegs don't fit my old legs.

I have searched here and other forums, still cloudy. Please help me resolve this issue.

thanks in advance,

I'm tall (6'2" - short for a Texan) and found that the pegs work best for me. I have some Harley floor boards that I was going to install, but they would not really add that much change for me, so have not installed them. Maybe a shorter person would find the floorboards to be more comfortable?? don't know. There is a lot of adjustment available in the peg system; not so on floorboards. I do understand your desire to have a way to change leg position!!

don

ISCI floorboards, the only way to go. They drop your foot, I'd say 5" and also forward 5".

foot pegs preferences

Lot's of personal choice here to get the riding geometry ride for you as an individual. For me (6ft, 31in inseam) I needed to lower and move the peg position forward, and in. My choice was the KW brackets which are very strong, then a 4" bracket, then a little chopping of the "rocker panels".

I haven't yet seen the RT, and have been concerned about rider peg position.
I'd recommend some "mockup" of where you want the position to be, then you can decide which peg/floorboard may be best. here's some pix of my set-up. this works really well for me.

No chopping required for the ISCI setup, puts your toe in the same place, but also support your heel. Stand on them, jump on them, put both feet on them, you are not breaking them.

I would like more info on your foot

I'd have to say that ISCI and SEAL may be the manufacturers to keep an eye on regarding where to put your feet... There are others out there but...
