• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Foglight question

I recently installed BRP foglights on my wife Spyder and they are working great!:2thumbs: My question is are they supposed to shut off when the highbeams are on? These are not shutting off and in Virginia the state inspection has this stupid rule that foglights must shut off when on high beam. Both of our cars' factory fogs do shut off and I expected the factory BRP fog to do so also.

Thanks,

I had the dealer install my fog lights. They do not turn off when head lights are on high beam. Evidently they are not tied in with the head lights.

You are, indeed, out of luck. The Spyder low/high beams aren't technically even switched. Low beams merely lower a shutter over the top part of the projector lens. You will have to switch manually, or take your chances with the law. I do believe you could easily rig a relay to do this automatically if you wanted to, however.
