• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Got stoped for my fog lights beeing to bright, they are the stock lights no modifications. I have adjusted the headlights (they were 2 turns to high). Can somthing be done to the fog lights or do I have to never use them.

As far as i know there are no adjustments for the fog lights.
Did you get stopped before or after you adjusted the head lights?
If it was before i think you'll be OK now, The cop probably was confused as to which were the offending [high] lights.

Never had a problem and I run all my lights all the time. State law to have headlights on on some roads here.

I had the high intensity headlights on my first GS and had no problems with those either.

Fog lights are 35W; headlights are 65W. No way the fog lights are too bright compared to the headlights. I agree with the earlier post that the cop probably had it backwards. The foglights are not adjustable for aim so unless the factory somehow got them in wrong, they should be aimed correctly and not a problem at all. I run all the lights all the time. Safety first.

fog light adjustment...

The fog lights do have an adjustment screw located alongside the main housing. It's the center bolt shown in the attached pic. You can get to it through the side opening with a flexible extension and torx bit.Adj screw.jpgtool.jpg

Many Thanks

Thank you so much for this information. My lights are way too low and even the dealer didn't know how to adjust them. I have a friend who uses them as running lights, and has them up so they are bright, but don't blind people like my Xeon headlights do. It works great!

They really pulled you over for that..Around here most of the cars lights are way too bright and they don't get pulled over..
