• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fog Lights

Although I fully agree that the fog lights create more visibility, care must be taken to adhere to local ordinances. Some states, specifically Wisconsin, do not allow the use of "fog lights" in clear or daytime conditions. I have a friend who forgot to turn his fog lights off on his pickup after the sun had gotten up and the fog burned off, he was pulled over and ticketed.

:dontknow:
Are you sure he had ''ONLY'' one set of fog lights on?
Most pickup driver's [the ya who's] run with a bank of fog light's.:yikes:
More than 4 forward projection lights are illegal in almost all states.

That is exactly the problem, as it was explained to me, people add after market lighting which under "normal" conditions can be blinding to on coming traffic. Hence, any illuminated "fog light" is a ticketalbe offense if illuminated under clear or daytime conditions in Wisconsin. I didn't say it was a good law, but it is the law in some states. Unless this has changed in Wisconisn, I live just south of the Wisconsin border in Illinios, but I've not heard about it if it has.
