• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fog light - R/H out

Just got my first 2010 Spyder RT-S. Just noticed that my right fog light does not work. Had it inspected durint my Out of Province (Canada) inspection and I was told that the bulb is OK but there is no power going to the socket. Any idea where to look first? I would think that if it is the case, this would be covered under warranty?

Happened to another on this site, Scotty I think, and it was a loose plug for the light. I am sure he will reply if i am remembering correctly.

Seeing they have to install the trunk at the dealer my guess is they never plugged it in. I would check there first.

Happend to me. Noticed it when I got home from picking up my ride. I found that by looking at the plug, after pulling the side cover, a wire was pulled out of the plug to the fog lite. I pused it in and its been ok ever since. Hope this helps. Bob

Good advice here, all around. The foglight wiring harness may be able to be reached through the wheelwell (Use a strong light to see what you are doing...removing the tire and fender helps.) It usually projects from the opening toward the trunk. If the dealer failed to remove the shipping ties, you may have to remove the trunk to get at it. As an alternative, return to the dealer and have them make it right.

Thanks

WOW ! This is overwhelming, got lots of stuff to check in the next few days to fix my problem. I will definitely look at it before I bring it to the dealer on Saturday. I really appreciate the help from everyone. By the way, I drove my first 100kms last night, this Spyder is awesome ! :ohyea:
