• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FOBO question

Those of you that have FOBO, where do you set the high side and low sensor? I have mine set at 1.5 lbs above recommended front and 4 above rear. On my trip to Charleston, SC on hot days the alarm was ringing frequently especially the rear tire. Its amazing how much pressure can build up in a short time on hot highways. The rear tire was 6 lbs + on one stop. I let about 2 lbs out to get within settings. Down the road it was up again. Let more out. When tire cooled at night it was low so added air and started process over again. Now home and checking tires I noticed tire was worn in center and need a new tire. Not to disappointed 9000 miles on tire better than 3000 on last but plenty of tread on edges of tire and could have gotten 12 to 15 K I think if I had been more aware of tire pressure. :f_spider:

I live in Arizona where the tires are registering hot in the summer, even when the Spyder is parked in the garage. I have mine set at 4 lbs above the pressure that I want, otherwise I'd be getting alarms all day and all night. In the winter I set it at 2 lbs above.

I agree with Pam. I tried setting mine at just 10% above the set pressure but as soon as the weather heated up it was constant alarms. I am now at 5 lbs over and no problems yet here in Ut.
