• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fobo on F3T, 15" Blade Mag Wheels

I have a 2016 F3T with the 15" Blade Mag Wheels (not the stock ones). The stem/value is too short so I am not able to screw the sensors in. I saw some posts here but I am not sure what exactly needs to be done. I think I have to replace them with 1" stem or maybe a T valve. Newbie here, so please let me know what my options are. Any detailed videos or posts would be helpful.

Thanks

Well....

you can get screw on extensions that you can install and then add the sensor. Don't know the lengths offered but you can get them at the autoparts stores.

Strange as I have the Fobos on my Blade wheels and have no problem with clearance. Seems like you might need to have longer valve stems fitted. Any tire shop should be able to do this for you.

Thanks .. if you don't mind can you post a close-up picture, I just want to see how they fit.
I found the following on Fobo's website, https://www.my-fobo.com/Store#tab_FOBOACCS but I don't think I can use the screw-on type as that is for metal valve and not rubber valve (as is the case with stock tires I suppose).

Hmmmm, I have these wheels and am using FOBO on them without issue. Though I can't remember if the wheels came with stems in them or I had the tire shop install them. But the shop used standard length stems..... :dontknow:
