FOBO on an F3L

I have Fobo's on my RT and love them. On my new 2017 F3L there doesn't look like there is enough room on the fronts to put Fobo's without extending the valve stem. Can Fobo's be used with the stock valve stem? Thanks Wayne

You will have to use an extension. No other option.

It depends on the wheel. Some, the FOBOs fit on stock stems, some they do not. The stock stems are very short.

On the Blade wheels, its the short stems that work well, longer ones push the FOBO into the brake caliper.

Just put them on my new 17 f3t no problem. i understand that they will not work on the shamrock wheels.

Yeah, I put them on my stock 16 F3-L stems with no problems either, Spanky. but Wayne’s 17 model wheels have more spokes than mine, so I wasn’t sure if they would fit on his....

FOBO on F3L

I put them on my 17 F3L but had to use extenders. Bought the shortest possible ones I could find. I think they are 3/4 in long.

I bought the FOBO's and couldn't get them on my 2016 F3L - and didn't want to mess with extensions so I sold them. :banghead:

Had fobo on my 17 f3t no problem. just traded for standard all black rims with friend from a 2016 rt ltd and fobo went on no problem. these are same as chrome rims in the pic of my 2014 rt ltd but all black.
