• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:dontknow: Has anybody played with their radio and set prsets to their favorate stations. I set up about 6 out of the 15 that are allowed and for some reason I started up my ride yesterday and I just got static noise. I looked and it and it was set to my preset station but no radio signal. Did not have time to play with it then but after I got back home I tuned the radio to the station with out using the presets and the radio was fine. I looked at the other presets and all of them were just static. I reset the stations and it alacated to the next number that was not used. I guess when you fill all the 15 prsets it only changes the last one after that. My problem is that I can not remove the earlier presets. I know in my truck all I have to do is call up the preset number and tune in the staion I want and just push a button and it set the station to the preset. If any one has a solution for this uther than pulling the battery cables to clear the computer please let me know. Thanks Bob

Bob, I have not gotten as far as you. I gave up trying to set up the stations and went riding. I will be interested in the answers you get. One is that you have to go to "catagories" etc and you probably did that. It is much more complicated than our trucks...ha ha

BRP has a BIG / MAJOR problem with both their radio reception & their CB transmitting after releasing the PTT switch. :gaah:

For the price of their "Touring Bike" one would have thought that these issue would have never been allowed to leave the factory!

I personally would NEVER have paid for either of these components IF I had known of these "faults" ahead of time. nojoke

Mine seem to work just fin. I don't have the cb, so don't have an issue there.. set the presets once (as cumbersome as it was, but they are all there all the time.

My am/fm radio works okay...the CB receive is poor, but the transmit is okay. My buddies can hear me, but I can not make out their transmissions more than 200-300 yards away. ???

Same here. I've filled all the presets, and I guess I might want to swap some out when touring, which is what kicks out channel 15 (or the lowest available if not filled), but if you're stationary, hold the SET button to get to the setup screen, then you just go to the channel you want to reset and hold the down button to lock it in. See pages 31-32 in the OpGuide.
