• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So I was on a site that had the 2010 parts list and diagrams for all Spyders. Specifically the 2010 sheets do show :

But my bike does not have this.

I asked my dealer about it and they said that it was not needed. This was last year sometime.

I have heard that the flywheel reduces vibration.
Input anyone?

The manual clutch 2010 RTs did not have the flywheel...at least not the early ones. My 2010 PE did not.

Then why would later ones have it? Yea I know production lines change and all, but if the newer ones have it, why would mine be a candiate for it?

The older ones can't get it without additional changes, including changes to the clutch. Lamont and Doc looked into it, and it was impractical.

There were two standard shift RT's sold in Arkansas and they did not have the balancers. They were set-up with tapped holes but were not there.

After the owners complained about vibration the dealer ordered and installed the balancers and the problem was solved.

The funny part was another one built about the same time had it. This was discovered after one of the owners without took a ride on the one with the balancer. He was not happy and they took care of it.

I am here: http://tapatalk.com/map.php?kmtxge

My pulley did have the holes and was taped, took to dealer and complained about vibration and he ordered a balancer. all is well now. 2010 rt standard shift.

You can bolt the counter weight on the outside of your pulley but without changing the inside parts you're setting yourself op for trouble down the road. There's a reason the other parts were designed to go with the counter weight.
