• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

does anyone have any plans of offering floorboards for the spyder? not the highway pegs, but true floorboards what say u magic man and company?

Don't know of any commercially available but I am finsihing up some of my own this week. If you can't find any and can't live without them, PM me. I live in Pensacola and I might be able to cobble up a set for you, if you like mine. I will probably post with pictures when I finish, but it may not be soon as I have a lot to accomplish before heading to the rally in Gatlinburg. Ryde Safe and Enjoy:thumbup:

Finished mine last night. If all goes well I will post pics tonight. They are basically my version of the floorboards done by mike3069. I believe he saw some similar at Homecoming. You can find his post in a thread entitled Simple Floorboards. Ryde Safe and Enjoy.

First off I found this on Spydertalk "Thru the forum I found some floore boards from Smikth Industrial Inc...Spring grove PA Tele 717 225 1413 or [email protected]. Speak with Dean...Hes making mine for the Spyder...He makes a new gear shift lever and brake extension."

I found that I could actually brake or downshift using my heels without moving my feet back to the pegs. Not sure I would do it, but it is possible.

I'm sorry but I just can't post pics here yet. I sort of know what I have to do to be able to, but just haven't had the time. You can see pics if you will go to Spydertalk.com and look under Spyder Tips and Tricks, the thread titles are Floorboards and Flooboards2.
