Does anyone know of a floor board kit for a 2008 Spyder
GS that will replace the current peg and hopefully lower the
leg down somewhat?

Go to my website, sealfloorboards.com. You are looking for the RS SE5 (SM5) DLX. Although they will be the same height as your pegs, you will have tons of room to move your feet around.

I Have SFB Racing floorboards and like them very much.

I believe the ISCI boards are the only ones that lower the peg height. Seals offer the most room, at the same height.

If you want to get rid of the heat on your legs/feet get the kit from Spyderpops (a sponsor here)..It's a inexpensive fix and will solve your problem....It's his heat management kit...Here's the link to his site...
