• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Floating Pegs

I'm finally getting around to posting this. I got my pegs from Pierre and got them installed. They work great in letting me stretch my legs out to give my knees a break. Easy to install and adjust. Next on my list is a backrest.

I just installed a pair of these on my 2019 RTL. They were super easy to install and I like them.

I get 4 additional riding positions, all the way from heel on the boards and a toe on these to fully stretched out with just my heels on the ends of these.

Obviously I haven't done a multi-thousand mile ride on these yet, but I know what my legs need on those long rides and these will provide that diversity.

i...now that you have had the floating pegs for a couple of months...is the grit like sandpaper surface peeling up on the edges.....i am ready to purchase a set

We had a set installed at the Maggie Valley rally in October.

My wife doesn't use them very much (yet), but has enjoyed them the few times that she has.

I think if we get in some longer weekend trips next year, she will REALLY like them.

Also Pierre never answered my questions or text.

There are only 2 people in Pierres shop, himself and his wife. Sometimes, he's out in the shop making his how-to videos, creating new products (like the floating floorboards) or working on a bike. I've spoken with him a few times. Friendly guy and reminded me that, for each of his videos (how-to or otherwise), he actually makes TWO, one in French and one in English. That's alot of work for what's basically a 1 man crew.

HAGO!

Im another one using Pierres floating pegs. Simple to install an make a long day of riding a lot more enjoyable. Being able to stretch out legs to another position makes a big difference IMO. He is a nice guy to work with from the times I have bought things from him. He even called me to make sure about an order I sent him.
