• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Flickering Lights and Gauges

I have a 2010 RT SE5 that was running fine. Due to the weather haven't been able to ride for about 5 days. I finally was going to get to ride and when I put the key in the ignition, the display started flashing and the gauges were jumping around. Thought it might be a weak battery so hooked up the tender to it and when it showed a green light, tried it again with the same results.:banghead:
Anyone have any ideas on what the problem/fix is?

Need to try a regular Battery charger. If the battery is low the tender won't do much.

Have to agree..!!

:agree: a loose connection...check battery terminals and ground connections. Next would be the battery..could be holding a surface charge only. Don't know how old it is...:dontknow:

I greatly appreciate everyone's thoughts and inputs but I just haven't had the time to check for loose connections. Thanks again.

Just for thought

I had this problem, but I also had the LED light flickering when I switched off. Found out after much deliberation that the problem was on the battery connections either side of the seat and also the brake lights switch was faulty, Good luck and ride safe!
