Flashing red lights on rear

I own a Ryker 600 Ace - 1k miles in less than 3 months - happy as a heck with it!

Scrolled through a search of rear light posts but could not find the answer so looking for help.

I would like to have more visibility on rear of my machine - I see bicycles with flashing rear lights that are very effective day and night and I believe legal in Florida.

I have mounted one on the rear of my 600 under top box and would like to use it flashing at all times. Even solid it is effective in increasing my visibility to other motorists.

Does anyone know if it is legal in Florida to have it flashing on a motorcycle (I am assuming a Ryker is considered a motorcycle in this state)?

I appreciate your guidance.

Flashing lights are prohibited on vehicles except:
(a) As a means of indicating a right or left turn, to change lanes, or to indicate that the vehicle is lawfully stopped or disabled upon the highway;

I notice a lot of newer vehicles have brake lights which flash a few times then go solid red at a stop. No different than touching the brake a few times as you begin to stop, to get the attention of those behind you.

In Arizona the law states that flashing red lights may be used on vehicles which may be considered a hazard to traffic (such as a bicycle). To my mind a motorcycle stopped at a light could be so construed, though I don't really want to go to court to find out.
