• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Blue Bunny makes a fried ice cream

Anything from Jones Ice Cream Parlor Baldwin, MI. Nothing but homemade goodness there!!!

Now you got me going. Have four small pints (asst) in the freezer. They will be gone in a couple days.:yes:

Last year our group did a ice cream challenge. Had to be non national ice cream shops (no Dairy Cream, Stone Cold, Bridgman). All ice cream shops had to be in Minnesota. I did not get them all, but did win with 73.
The one that I liked the best, and I liked a lot of them, was Pirates Bounty!

Nothing but homemade

This time of year, it's peach cobbler ice cream (Fredericksburg peaches and a bit... ok, a lot of cinnamon). Just made a batch last night. Other times, it's bananas foster ice cream -- bananas and... cinnamon. The rest of the year? Cinnamon!

One of our biggest pre-Spyder extravagances was the purchase of a Whynter ice cream maker -- spins and freezes, and does a wonderful job. After looking at the list of multisyllabic additives in some of our favorite ice creams a few years back, we decided we might as well know exactly what is in the extra pounds we're adding through dessert!

If I have the two pint's of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream that Deanna left in the fridge, I will get Flamed for sure..!!! :joke:

Ben & Jerry's Oreo Mint, Karamel Sutra Core, Heath Bar Crunch, Vanilla with Vermont Maple Syrup with M&M'S.
