• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Flag Holder for a 2013 RTL

I saw a post for the positioning of the flag on the spyder, but where can I get a flag holder for my 2013 rtl? can you put the flag on the existing antenna or do you need a new/different setup? Also I have the covers for my Spyder, full and half, will the covers fit with the flag holder mods?

The "license plate mounted flag holder" from Rivco is the only one that i know of that does not interfere with either the full or half cover for the Spyder RT series.

I too have the Rivco flag holders. A snap to install. However, I do have to remove them when I put my full cover on, which I only use when travelling. I just carry a small wrench in the glove box to take them off and put them back on. Only takes a couple of minutes.

You can also try flagsoncars.com for mc flags and brackets. I mounted one on each side of my rear trunk lid on old bike and just ordered new brackets only from them for my new RTS at about $15 for 2 brackets

The best flag holder i have seen was a 35 year old blond in a bikini, where can i find one of those for my bike when i ride
in a parade?
No pic?! Yes vendors have good selection have heard of putting flag on antenna but needs clamp yo hold on.

But I think would be too low & close to tires & road grime, (you dont want to fly a dirty flag!) rivco has a single mount some drilling may be required..? Or go with decals. & spyderwraps

I would not use a antenna flag, would probably break antenna, seen it happen a lot with gold Wings. My choice would be the ICSC post right this one. the tall version is out of the way for a full cover and I had mine on for 10,00 miles or so. This mounts on the licence plate holder. I am not sure where RIVCO mounts
Flag tip. Cost the trailing edge with seam sealer from a fabric store, Mine is called Fray-edge. I fly a American and a PGR Flag on ICSC holder most of the time. Oldmanzues

Dont put a Flag on the stock antenna

Take my word for this, its nice for a week or 2... then no flag & no antenna. The antenna is not made to take the stress of the extra drag from even a small flag.

And the Antenna is NOT covered under warranty.
