• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Flag Etiquette Questions

I have been seeing lots of rydes with the flag mounts displaying more than 1 flag (myself included US & Australian).

My understanding of the correct etiquette when flying more than 1 national flag is that the Host country flag (in this case the US), the flag is flown on ‘its own right’.I believe this to mean that when looking forward from behind the flagpole it is the righthand side (the flags own right). Thus from the viewers standpoint looking at the flagpole, the flag would be on their left. As we have quite a few ex-military members here on spyderlovers, I am hoping that someone can confirm or advise differently (I retired from the military 18 years ago and my memory is somewhat foggy on this now).

Additionally, does the same etiquette apply to flying a national flag with other types of flags (ie: POW / Military Branch / Police Dept/ FireDept etc)?

Also when your in a parade the American flag will face the crowd on the right side(parade side), now for flag poles the American flag should be raised higher to other flags, but this will depend on how many poles you have and what state your from. On a single pole the American flag will be on top of other flags. Hope this helps with your question. Also use the internet to make sure just type flag etiquette and there are alot of good information.

Keep it simple

I had concerns as well after joining the PGR. Got lots of opinion answers,& found simplest for me was only 1flag in center. Fyi & stickrs/decals that dont require etiquette.

When flying multiple flags all the poles can be the same height. If you are flying more than one national flag they should all be at the same height. On a single pole you should not fly more than one national flag.

If you are going to have a flag painted, the proper display is on the roof....................
