• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fixing the Defect on the New Adjustable Handelbars

I really like the new adjustable handelbars. What I don't care for though is the exposed bolts sticking out of the top. With the black color of the bars the chrome bolts are just out of place and look bad. My first thought was to paint them black but I figured from using the adjusting tool, I would end up scratching the paint off.

Here is what they look like.

Here is my solution. Black rubber chair feet from True Value. Four of them for $1.99. The size to get is 5/8". When you push them on they stretch out over the bolt head and cover the washers at the bottom to. They are pretty snug and won't be falling off. The plastic or nylon ones will not work. They do not stretch and 5/8" will not go on and the next size (3/4") is too big.

Hot toppers caps snap into the hex hole and can be baught in black or crome they give the bolts a more custom finished off appearence just my opinion.
