• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Fitting '19 Max Mount to '22 Ryker - what am I missing?

I purchased a max mount that was on a 2019 Ryker Rally for my 2022 900 ACE. I looked up the part numbers and they matched, so I thought there would be no issue. I tried to mount it today and the bolt holes are about 1/4" off. I couldn't see anything preventing it from sliding the entire way in. The max mount does have scratches and nicks, but it didn't seem bent at all. Am I missing something or am I not seeing where it could be bent?

Any thoughts would be appreciative.

I don't think you're missing anything..... except for you to realise that BRP's quality standards aren't quite as high as might be expected, especially on the Rykers.... :banghead:

Sorry :sour:

When I installed my Passenger Seat footpegs on my '22 Sport, I had issue fitting the spacer on one side into the appropriate gap on the max mount. So, the casting doesn't seem to be that dimensionally stable. I'm with Peter.... seems to be not the best QC on this part.

Later,
EV
