Hey, everybody! I just got back from my second day of riding my new Canyon XT! I love it. I went into the dealership looking for a Ryker I could travel local PNW forest roads on. Questioned the ground clearance though. Ended up leaving on a beautiful 2017 Spyder RTL, which was awesome. But, it bottomed it's frunk on a typical pothole (less GC than a Ryker
). So, not gonna work. It proved the Can Am trike concept though. So after a sleepless night of contemplation, I sprung for the new Canyon. I'm glad I did. It's a much more suitable ride for what I want to do: moderate forest roads. It's also just as fun on the road, but different, than the RT. It's like you sit in a Spyder, you sit on a Canyon. I think Spyders and Canyons complement each other well and provide distinctive alternatives. Looking forward to many fun miles ahead!
